Gistbook is a social-good company, not just a book summary app. We want reading to become a normal habit again in every family and school; the challenges, leaderboards, gift challenges and community causes all exist so that more people read.

What is Gistbook?

Gistbook is a reading platform by XOVENT with the key ideas of 218 world-famous non-fiction books, each readable or listenable in about 15 minutes, in English and Bangla. Books are published by Ariha Arshan Publishing; courses and certificates are with Skill University.

Is Gistbook free?

Creating an account is free, and the first chapter of every book is free to read. A membership (from ৳149) unlocks every book, the audiobooks, courses and certificates.

Are these the full original books?

No. Each one is a clear, original summary of a famous book's key ideas, examples and how to apply them. Every book page links to the original if you want the full book.

Can I listen instead of reading?

Yes. Books have audiobook versions, and you can switch between Bangla and English at any time.

Do I get a certificate?

Optionally. Each book has a short course (reflection questions, a 7-day action plan and a 5-question quiz); finishing it gives a Skill University certificate with a code anyone can verify.

How do I pay?
